After 3 ½ years of work, Maison Parra opened its doors in June 2023.
Here is my feedback after visiting the place, but I won't tell you too much because it is a house which contains many secrets to discover on site!

The house is located in an alley in the town of Marmande, 18 rue Paul Vergnes, quiet, out of sight. Nothing appears...
I am welcomed into the living room where I can already admire the artistic creations that adorn the walls:
My eye is drawn to the living light that springs from these paintings, even though they are made of dark materials: volcanic rock… In the corridor a much darker series is presented. The description of the works is striking, powerful in emotion!
I am in awe of such achievements and all the meaning contained in these works of art!
But… this is just an appetizer because that is not the purpose of my visit!
The time has come for me to put on my Little Red Riding Hood or Alice in Wonderland outfit to enter the enchanted forest !
I am welcomed by autumn and its fantastic characters: queen of parrots, queen of flowers… I am immersed in a fiery universe, surrounded by the song of birds. I don't know where to look because there are so many details... I have entered another dimension.
More spring is not far away, the rose garden is splendid, the colors are so vibrant!
Imaginary and magical characters punctuate my wandering... like in a dream, I let myself be carried away by the magic of this place.
The heat is noticeable… could it be summer ? I enter the jungle with an exotic atmosphere guaranteed. I feel very small under these gigantic trees, or is it my imagination playing tricks on me? Have I changed planet? Regardless, I decide to gain height and blend into the background…
Quiet…. I think I've told you more than I needed to!
I didn't meet the big bad wolf or the white rabbit...
But the encounter with a dreamlike and poetic nature! For a few minutes my mind, my attention was completely absorbed by the aura of the place. We forget everything, we let ourselves be overwhelmed... This transformed house is a true ode to nature.
