> Formula 1: The Marmande sound trails

Marmande has 3 original courses which were created by Eddie Laddoire, an artist who is both visual artist and composer and Unendliche studio. To discover these routes, download the free application – LISTENERS – from the stores.

  • The DOWNTOWN route : Eddie Ladoire has created a series of sound images of the historic heart of the city, a sort of radio fiction composed of original texts written by the author Marna Bellefaye, recorded sound materials gleaned from different places of life and exchanges. From the House of the Black Prince to the Tower of Charlemagne, via the Notre Dame church, the work offers an offbeat walk throughout the city.
  • The FILHOLE journey: The artist reveals the sonic identity of this natural space (huge public park of more than 100 hectares) and offers an immersive and artistic experience surrounded by nature. Drawing on the singularity of the little-known history of the site, its natural riches and the diversity of its uses, his musical work, composed from sounds recorded in situ, reveals suggested images of a present and past soundscape.
  • The INDUSTRIAL courses: Creation of a radio fiction composed of original texts written by the author Sophie Poirier, recorded sounds and sounds manufactured to evoke the 1th century. The 2st route is dedicated to the industrial and commercial memory of Marmande and the XNUMXnd route develops the soundscape of industrial life in Marmande today.
