Eh yes ! In the Val de Garonne, many towns grow wine. Located all around Marmande, on both banks of the Garonne, our vines are present on more than 1300 hectares. Nature is at the center of our ambitions: here, the winegrowers are Agriconfiance Quality Environment certified.

Grape varieties with character

Warm*, flexible* et generous*… In red, white and rosé, the aromatic finesse of our wines lies in a grape variety* unique. A rigorous blend of tradition and terroir, from the roundness of Bordeaux grape varieties to the fruitiness of Marmandais grape varieties. Merlot, Sauvignon or Abouriou, the aromas of our vines are the fruit of the mild oceanic climate. The taste of the South West is our specialty!

Côtes du Marmandais: our common strength

The AOC Côtes du Marmandais is a French wine produced in Lot-et-Garonne, straddling both banks of the Garonne. The blend of different grape varieties makes these wines unique, whether red, white, or rosé. 

On the red side, we find all the pleasure of a wine of character: a deep ruby ​​color coming from the Abouriou grape variety, fruity*, flexible, round*, with a powerful tannin reminiscent of Cabernet Sauvignon. A quality vintage, perfectly balanced... You will see life in red with the AOC Côtes du Marmandais!

On the white side, or rather green, given its reflections, the AOC Côtes du Marmandais is to be classified among dry wines. Lovers of soft foods, take a step forward: its taste is both fruity and nervous* will seduce you! Blend of Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscadelle grapes and Marmandais Sémillon: don’t resist the temptation…

AOC : or Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée. It is an honorary title for wines that have passed all stages of quality control. Not to be confused with AOP (Protected Designation of Origin).

 

GRAPE : corresponds to a variety of grape, and therefore of vine. By extension, grape varieties designate the blending of several grape varieties to create a wine.  

 

WARMLY : is said of a wine which is rich in ethanol, without being strong when tasting. See "generous". 

 

FRUITY : refers to a wine which reveals aromas such as red fruits, exotic fruits or even dried fruits. 

 

GENEROUS : refers to a wine whose taste and aroma are both full-bodied and pleasant. See "warm".

 

NERVOUS : refers to a wine that develops lively, almost acidic flavors on the palate.

 

ROUND : is said of a wine which presents sweet, slightly acidic aromas, providing a certain flexibility aromatic. These wines are said to be sweet.
