Every year in October, the association Z’arts de Garonne makes the whole city swing to the sound of pianos, trumpets and saxos. Jazz and Garonne, it is the highlighting of the most beautiful universal language, music and its values ​​of respect, freedom and sharing.

It's also an opportunity to meet around a Jam session, because the best meetings are always improvised.

The Loryx Duo invites you to a musical, educational and biological journey in the world of flutes. The flute is the oldest wind instrument on our planet... present in all civilizations and in all parts of the globe. Eddie Dhaini's quartet plays among themselves and for the public a jazz with simple melodies which leaves plenty of room for personal expression. Through his interventions, Koku wishes to offer a true journey to the heart of Africa, a discovery of elsewhere between awakening the senses and poetry. Fatou, a little African girl discovers a magical baobab tree full of surprises. Curious, she climbs the baobab which will offer her African musical instruments as she climbs... Dances, songs, music, mimes, it's a real journey to meet another culture. At the end of the show, the children are invited to try the instruments!

Le Franco-British trio EDZATO created in 2019 is composed of Robert Edwards (piano), Thierry Zacharias (double bass) and Jimmy Toyes (drums). They offer a original directory which mixes rearranged standards and

''Adeo'' is a Latin expression which means "to go towards". Composed during the silence of confinement, this repertoire echoes the desire to “go towards” a writing and a search for stamps located at the crossroads of the oral tradition (jazz, popular music) and written tradition (classical music). Adeo is designed as a ''chamber music orchestra'' which brings together seven musicians: a classical quartet (bass clarinet, bassoon, viola and cello, two woodwinds, two strings) and its current trio sax, bass, drums. A music resolutely acoustic around brand new compositions including an adaptation of the great Hungarian composer Belà Bartok.
