8 km from Tonneins and the banks of the Garonne, cross the small village of Grateloup-Saint-Gayrand and head towards Castelmoron-sur-Lot. You can't miss the Gorry mill. Located on a mound at an altitude of 162 meters, it can also be seen from afar. Accessible by a small path, it overlooks the Garonne valley and faces, on the same hill, the Roujol mill.
Built in 1808 as indicated by the inscription above the door, the Gorry mill was still in operation when it fell prey to a fire in 1932. Recently restored identically, it found a brand new mechanism and its old wings thanks to the project management of the Compagnons du Tour de France. In the evening, they are lit up and stand out against the starry sky. Ask at the town hall if you wish to visit it.
