1- Why get classified?

The classification is a voluntary process on the part of the host. It makes it possible, through the awarding of stars, to guarantee customers a level of comfort and equipment, and to reinforce the qualitative image of their services.

The classification procedure :

  • Thus, accommodation can today be classified from 1 to 5 stars and the flagships of the hotel industry can even obtain the “Palace” designation.
  • July 23, 2012 will mark the deadline for the validity of stars awarded before the promulgation of the law, except for furnished tourist accommodation whose old classification will be valid until the end of its 5 years. Thus, a furnished tourist accommodation classified in 2009 benefits from this classification until 2014.

The tourist office of the Val de Garonne supports you in obtaining labels recognized at the departmental or national level. Real added value to make you stand out!
