The Black Pork production area in Peyries is more than qualitative. It is raised in its natural environment of meadows and undergrowth, using a breeding method equivalent to a wild state.
Peaceful and familiar in character, it is a very endearing animal. It consumes meadow grass and cereals (barley, triticale, wheat, rye) daily, but also fruits and vegetables.
Depending on the season, pigs consume acorns, chestnuts and the elements they encounter while foraging in the ground. The hilly routes make it a very good walker and thus give it very red and very marbled meat. We raise them for 14 to 18 months. At this time, they weigh between 160kg and 200kg.
From our outdoor breeding, we produce tasty meat and exceptional charcuterie!
